A lens, perspective, or mindset that consciously considers and actively seeks to understand the elements that comprise the micro-, meso-, and macro-level layers forming the systems that define the nature of healthcare within a society.
Systems thinking requires viewing the system’s individual aspects, inter-relatedness, and potential for change through growth.
